Wonder if any ELCAers have buyer’s remorse, having bought into Called to Common Missionin 1999. This agreement with the Episcopal Church required the ELCA to change its constitution and gradually adopt an Episcopal structure. After all, sacramental bishops, priests, and deacons require miters, pectoral crosses, stoles, ceremonies, rules, and regulations that show their special powers and distinguish their ranks.
