Bishops Peter Rogness (St. Paul Area) and Craig Johnson (Minneapolis Area) officiated.<\/p>\n<p>Zillhart and Frost are also a \u201ccouple\u201d with a daughter. How was she conceived? In 1993 Zillhart was artificially inseminated with the sperm of a gay \u201ccouple\u201d who sloshed their sperm together.<\/p>\n<p>Julie Sevig and Michelle Miller, another ELCA lesbian couple, have three children who were conceived by Miller in a way similar to Zillhart\u2019s insemination. Sevig is a rostered AIM and associate editor at <em>The Lutheran.<\/em> Miller is the former associate director of the ELCA Commission for Women; she is now Associate Pastor of\u00a0 Holy Trinity Lutheran  Church in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The ELCA message to teenagers: A father is just a sperm donor.<\/strong> <strong>Kids don\u2019t need fathers.<\/strong> Two lesbians are just as good.<\/p>\n<p>This no-dad message is not in a corner; it\u2019s the ELCA standard.<\/p>\n<p>The gay issue is about the family: What\u2019s best for children?
